IT giant Salesforce is on board of our initiative providing refugees with professional skills. The initial results are successful enough to extend the project.

For the last two months, we have run a professional training programme together with Salesforce, a leading US IT company specializing in CRM software. So far, 20 refugees selected by us have participated in the programme. The training sessions are given by Salesforce employees working as volunteers. The programme, involving interview training, network building and presentation skills, has elicited appreciation from both volunteers and refugees. United Way the Netherlands could not be more thrilled with the initial results.

Ahmad, one of the participants, offers his sincere thanks to both UW-NL and Salesforce: “The atmosphere of the training sessions was very friendly, and the professionals were sincere and welcoming. I learned a lot of things and I´m so excited to have acquired new skills and knowledge.”

Following the success of the programme, we have decided to embark on a second round. There are still a few places available, so if you are a motivated refugee who would like to build his/her CV and participate, please send an email to the address below. We are also looking forward to welcoming additional corporate partners to this training programme.
